Terms & Conditions

Ergolyx products are sold to end users—individual consumers and businesses—for their own use. We do not permit resale to third parties unless explicitly agreed. You must meet your country’s legal age requirements to enter a sales contract (for minors, a parent or guardian should consent). For businesses, each order must meet our minimums (at least 5 desks or 5 chairs).

  • Sales Policy: Products may be purchased for individual, business, or authorized retail use. Purchases for unauthorized distribution or resale are not permitted.

  • Legal Age: Orders must be placed by someone of legal contracting age in their country. If you are underage, a responsible adult must place the order on your behalf.

  • Minimum Business Order: For business purchases, a minimum order of 10 desks, 10 chairs, or a combined total of 10 items is required per purchase.

  • No Account Needed: You don’t need to create an account to shop. At checkout you can provide your email and payment details to place an order.

Orders & Payment

Orders are processed in EUR. For consumers (B2C), we accept PayPal and Stripe payments at checkout. For businesses (B2B), invoices are issued after order confirmation. All payments are in euros and final.

  • Payment Methods: PayPal and credit card (via Stripe) for retail customers; invoice billing for business customers.

  • Currency: All prices and payments are in EUR (euros) only.

  • No Discounts: Consumer (B2C) prices are fixed and not subject to promotions or coupon codes. Business (B2B) pricing may differ based on order volume or negotiated terms.

  • Order Acceptance: We will confirm your order by email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order before shipment (for example, if an item is unavailable or payment fails). If your order is canceled after payment, we will issue a full refund promptly.

Delivery

We ship Ergolyx products to many countries, including most EU member states. Availability, delivery times, and shipping costs vary by region. Please check our Shipping Information page or contact us to confirm whether we ship to your location. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not liable for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.

  • Shipping Coverage: We ship to many regions, including most EU countries. Delivery times vary by country and carrier. For details, visit our Shipping Information page.

  • Customer Duties: You must inspect your package upon delivery. If items are missing or damaged, notify us and the carrier within 48 hours so we can assist with any claim.

  • Return Shipping: If you return an item under our return policy, you generally cover the return shipping cost (unless required otherwise by local law). We offer free outbound shipping on all orders, but return shipping is typically at your expense.

Returns & Warranty

We comply with all applicable consumer protection laws. EU customers benefit from a 14-day cooling-off period after delivery, during which they may cancel a purchase for any reason. We also honor the mandatory EU 2-year legal guarantee for manufacturing defects.

  • 14-Day Returns (EU Law): If you’re a consumer in the EU, you may return most products within 14 days of delivery for any reason. Items should be returned in their original condition with all parts and packaging. We may deduct an appropriate amount if the product shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect it. You must follow our return instructions (see our Return & Refund policy). Refunds are issued to your original payment method after inspection.

  • Warranty (Defects): All products include a manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. If your product is faulty or not as described, we will repair or replace it at no charge. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, lack of maintenance, environmental damage (e.g. water or heat), or third-party repairs.

  • Claims Process: To return or claim a warranty item, contact us promptly with proof of purchase. We will guide you through the return or warranty process (inspection, replacement, or refund) as outlined in our Returns & Refund Policy.

  • Consumer Rights: These terms do not limit your statutory rights under applicable consumer laws. If your local law provides greater protection (for example, a longer return period), those rights take precedence.

Product Use & Liability

Use and install our products safely and as intended. Follow the provided assembly and setup instructions carefully. If a product is installed incorrectly or used in an unintended way, it may become unsafe. We are not responsible for injuries or damage resulting from misuse or improper installation.

  • Proper Use: Our furniture is designed for ergonomic office use (e.g. desks for working at, chairs for sitting). Do not stand on, jump on, or otherwise misuse the furniture.

  • Assembly & Installation: Follow all assembly instructions exactly. If you are unsure, seek professional assistance. Do not cut, drill, or alter the product beyond the instructions. Improper assembly or modification voids the warranty.

  • Health & Safety: Ergolyx provides ergonomic furniture and accessories, not medical devices or medical advice. We do not guarantee health outcomes. If you have health concerns (e.g., back pain), consult a medical or ergonomic professional.

  • Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for injury or damage resulting from misuse, improper installation, or failure to follow instructions. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Consumer protection laws apply where they grant you additional rights.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Ergolyx website and in our products, including text, images, designs, logos, and product names, is our property or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  • Ownership: Ergolyx owns or licenses all rights to site content and product designs. You do not acquire any intellectual property rights by purchasing or viewing our products.

  • No Reuse: You may not copy, reproduce, publish, or distribute our content (including images, text, manuals, or logos) without written permission. All content is provided for personal or informational use only and may not be reused or redistributed elsewhere.

  • Trademarks: The Ergolyx name and logos are registered or unregistered trademarks of Ergolyx AB. Do not use them without prior written permission.

Customer Responsibilities

You also have responsibilities to ensure safe use of Ergolyx products:

  • Accurate Information: Provide complete and correct billing and shipping information. Verify the order details before confirming.

  • Inspect Deliveries: Check your shipment upon delivery. If anything is missing or damaged, report it to us immediately.

  • Follow Instructions: Read and follow all user manuals and safety guides. Follow maintenance and care instructions to prevent damage or injury.

  • Safe Environment: Use products on stable, level surfaces. Ensure the installation area meets any structural requirements (e.g. weight limits, mounting surfaces).

  • Child Safety: Keep products and small parts out of reach of children, and do not allow them to climb or play on furniture.

Legal

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, Shipping Information, and Returns & Warranty policies, form the agreement between you and Ergolyx.

  • Compliance: We comply with GDPR and all applicable data-protection laws regarding your personal information (see our Privacy Policy for details).

  • Consumer Laws: Nothing in these Terms limits the rights given to you by local consumer protection laws. Where there’s a conflict, mandatory local law takes precedence.

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by Swedish law and EU regulations. If your country’s laws give you additional rights, those rights apply.

  • Severability: If a court finds any part of these Terms invalid, the rest remain in effect.

  • Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for third-party services such as payment processors or shipping carriers. Any issues with those services must be resolved directly with the provider.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We recommend checking this page before each order. Continuing to use our site or services after any updates means you agree to the new terms.

  • Updates: We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms.

  • Notification: For major changes, we’ll notify you (for example, via email or a notice on our site).

  • Your Acceptance: Your continued use of Ergolyx services after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
