Warranty Coverage

All Ergolyx products include a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Coverage durations are:

  • Desks & Office Chairs – 10-year limited warranty (covering the frame, lift motor, and electronic control handset).

  • Monitor Arms – 2-year limited warranty.

This warranty protects only manufacturing defects in the covered components. It does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or any issues arising from improper use or maintenance.

Exclusions

The warranty excludes:

  • Wear & Tear or Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents, fading, or other cosmetic issues that occur under normal use.

  • Accidental or External Damage: Damage from drops, collisions, impact, electrical surges, natural disasters, or other external events.

  • Misuse, Abuse, or Neglect: Improper use (overloading, using in unapproved environments, abuse, or neglect).

  • Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications: Any alteration, repair, or modification performed by third parties or by the customer outside of Ergolyx instructions.

  • Improper Assembly/Installation: Errors in assembly or installation that do not follow Ergolyx instructions.

  • Post-Delivery Damage: Any damage occurring after delivery (e.g. tabletop scratches or dents after unboxing). Note: If the tabletop was damaged during shipping, this is handled as a delivery damage claim (contact support immediately upon receipt), not as a warranty claim.

Covered Components

For standing desks, the 10-year warranty covers the desk frame, and electronic handset/control panel. The desktop surface/tabletop itself is not covered under this warranty (unless it arrived damaged). If you receive a desk with a cracked or chipped tabletop, report it immediately as a shipping damage; we will arrange a replacement of the tabletop under delivery guarantee. If only one component (for example, the handset or motor) is defective, Ergolyx may send a replacement part rather than replacing the entire product.

Claim Process

Warranty claims are handled on a case-by-case basis. To start a claim, email support@ergolyx.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Please include:

  1. Proof of Purchase (order confirmation, invoice, or receipt).

  2. Photos or Videos clearly showing the defect. Visual evidence helps us diagnose the problem quickly.

  3. Any relevant details (e.g. when and how the defect was first noticed).

After submitting a claim, our support team may guide you through simple troubleshooting steps or a desk reset (many adjustable-desk issues can be resolved by a quick reset procedure). We will review the information and determine if the issue is a covered manufacturing defect.

Resolution & Remedies

If a defect is confirmed to be covered by warranty, Ergolyx will decide on the appropriate remedy. We may repair the defective part, replace it, or refund the purchase price, depending on the issue and applicable consumer protection laws. This decision is made at Ergolyx’s discretion as part of the warranty process. Once approved, Ergolyx will cover the shipping costs for returning the defective item and sending the replacement (within the warranty period).

Original Purchaser & Transferability

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product. It is non-transferable and does not apply if the product is resold or given to another person. Whether you are an individual consumer or a business customer, the warranty terms are the same for all purchases as long as you are the original buyer.

Certifications

Ergolyx products are built to high safety and quality standards. Electronic components carry relevant certifications (e.g. FCC for emissions, UL for safety, RoHS for limiting hazardous substances) to ensure compliance and safety. For example, UL-listed products meet national safety standards, and RoHS compliance limits hazardous chemicals in electronics. Each product page on our website will list the specific certifications that apply to that item.
